Yoco Eatery Durbanville
As it was Friday again, we had to find a new restaurant in Cape Town to explore (what a task!). We decided to find a new restaurant in our own village, Durbanville. Deon did a search on the Internet and yes, he found it. Part of the Rust en Vrede Gallery, Yoco Eatery is a combination of the talents of Yolande Snyders and chef Jaco Redelinghuys. Jaco is trained in French cooking and someone who likes to experiment. Yoco Eatery is a tranquil spot situated on Wellington Street where you can enjoy breakfast or lunch. They are also open on gallery evenings.
Deon enjoyed the Light Beef with sautéed mushrooms, roasted cherry tomatoes & shoestring fries and I ordered the pasta of the day.
The chef was kind enough to replace the beef with chicken and I was happy. The food was beautifully plated and perfectly prepared. Dessert was coffee and cheese cake.
This eatery is proof that Durbanville is one of the gems of Cape Town. We are very fortunate to live in this beautiful town.
Thank you for your kind article. We are happy you enjoyed your dining experience at Yoco Eatery and can’t wait to see you again. The Yoco Team
