We like to relax on a Friday afternoon after a week of hard work and we then usually visit one of Cape Town’s wonderful restaurants for dinner.
Today we decided on a local restaurant, called Soet (Sweet in English). It is situated in the centre of Durbanville and it is an interesting space where you can have coffee and cake; you can pop in for lunch; you could bring your kiddies for a birthday party; you could buy designer clothing and furniture or sit in front of a fire and read a book.
We were seated at a table where we could watch the fire (and yes, it was very cold outside). Deon ordered a gourmet Soet burger and my mom and I each decided on the quiche of the day. It was presented beautifully and we were quite impressed with this little gem in Durbanville.
We will visit Soet again.
