Home-Made Ice-Cream
I tried my hand at making ice-cream after discovering a quick and easy recipe. It turned out quite good, but we found it a bit too sweet and too creamy. Next time I would rather substitute 250 ml cream with 250 ml Evaporated Milk and I would use less of the condensed milk. But if you like your ice-cream sweet and creamy, this is definitely something to try. I made a plain vanilla ice-cream, but you could add chocolate; berries – basically anything you prefer in your ice-cream. The best part of this recipe is that you do not need a machine or even to stir the mixture every half an hour. You whip it up and freeze it. That is all.
Ingredients
1 tin of condensed milk
500 ml double thick cream
5 ml vanilla seeds
Method
Whisk all the ingredients together until soft peaks form. Do not over beat. Place in a suitable container and freeze overnight. Enjoy!
